They have wonderful amenities, including a fully-equipped, professionally staffed health club, indoor and outdoor pools, sauna and steam rooms, lockers, card playing rooms, and a pool table and plasma HD TV in the spacious Community Center. Professional instructors conduct various health-related group activities, including yoga, stretching-toning, aquasize, and other similar classes. There is also a courtesy mini-bus (“jitney”) to transport residents to and from the Port Washington LIRR train station. Our community is adjacent to the Harbor Links Golf Course, a magnificent, public, 18-hole course managed for the Town of North Hempstead by the Arnold Palmer organization. You can virtually fall out of bed onto the course. Additionally, within a couple of hundred yards, there is also a beautifully maintained, public, 9-hole executive golf course managed by the same organization. And, if that’s still too big for you, try your hand at the adjacent, 18-hole miniature golf course.
